Lindsey MacFee, Dip PT, MSc, Physiotherapist

 

Lindsey has been a registered physiotherapist for almost 30 years! Having trained in London; she originally specialised in the treatment of neurological conditions such as: Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson, and Head Injury. She has spent the last 26 years in the Caribbean and has worked extensively with the local community in many of the islands.

Lindsey has also worked in the fitness industry and as a certified exercise instructor and personal trainer. She has special interests in Aqua therapy, Sports Injury, Core Strength and Stability.

She has trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and specialises in individualized rehabilitation programs for those with deterioration in general fitness. Utiliising her extensive experience with core stability and postural alignment in conjunction with the Schroth method Lindsey has developed a special interest in Scoliosis.

She has produced an Aquatic Therapy DVD along side Dr. Caroline Quartly for patients with severe reflex pain inhibition and is also a qualified Reflexologist.

Most recently Lindsey has undertaken further education in Women’s Health, with a special interest in the treatment of Pelvic Pain and Pelvic Floor Disorders. She is also promoting "3rd Age Woman” - a comprehensive approach to the problems that can arise in peri and post menopausal women.
